Back-Room Unethical Deals CRAFTED by Oklahoma's RINO 'Leaders' in the House of Representatives:
Yes, you can thank these 'Chamber of Commerce hugging' and Obama-leaning Republicans for unethically & un-Constitutionally road-blocking other true Republican Conservative lawmakers from bringing up bills THAT WE THE PEOPLE WANT HEARD in this final week of the Oklahoma legislative session. We need to follow these 'men' as they move on to the private sector and get loud in public anytime we run into them as they are conducting business with their new 'customers'. We need to let those new customers in that these men drum up in their new cushy post legislative jobs know that if they were deceitful, unethical, un-Constitutional, or untruthful when they screwed the public as a sitting legislator, they will most likely put the screws to their customers in private practice of any kind. The House Rules Committee Chairman Reps. Gus Blackwell, under the direction of House Speaker Chris Benge, Reps. Ken Miller and Tad Jones, concocted behind closed doors a new "Special Rule" (in the last week of the legislative session) that House Resolutions cannot be attached to Bills that are not germane. This is a TOTAL misinterpretation of Section 8.8 of the House Rules. Then, they used Party Discipline to force members to vote for this disgraceful maneuver. What this does is allow leadership to control every Resolution that they don't like. They put the screws to the Conservative wing of the GOP in order to stifle their input. Acts liek these are door-step that leads to tyranny and the simultaneous loss of OUR representative government. We need to scorch the earth and expose this.
Update: P.S. We received a phone call today from Rep. Gus Blackwell stating that this "Special Rule" was not made behind closed doors and that the matter was voted on it public. While we reminded him that it may have been voted on, IT WAS CONCOCTED BEHIND CLOSED DOORS BY THE POWER-HUNGRY LIBERAL RINO LEADERS IN THE HOUSE TO NEUTER THE CONSERVATIVE GOP MEMBERS.
