Reference: Leaving Scene of An Accident.

On October 17, 2007 at approximately 1551 hours the Creek County Sheriff’s
Office received a call-for-assistance via radio by an Oklahoma Highway
Patrol Trooper reference to a "hit and run" on the Turner Turnpike.*
The trooper advised that a hit and run suspect had fled the scene in his
vehicle and was near West 96th Street and Frankhoma Road. Two
motorists who witnessed the "hit and run" pursued GOMEZ-MARQUIA and provided
information to law enforcement officers.
A Creek County Deputy located Octavio GOMEZ-MARQUIA, age 19, in the
Frankhoma Pottery parking lot located at 9549 Frankhoma Road.
GOMEZ-MARQUIA’s vehicle had extensive damage to the front and sides of his
vehicle.
GOMEZ-MARQUIA was arrested by OHP and booked into the Creek County Criminal
Justice Center on the following charges.
Count I - Leaving the Scene of A Non-Injury Accident
Count II - Driving While Not Licensed
Count III - Failure to Comply With Compulsory Insurance Law
County IV - Operating a Vehicle Not Reasonable & Proper
The Creek County Criminal Justice Center has placed a hold on GOMEZ-MARQUIA
with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
* - Note from Outraged Patriots: The collision resulted in a 5-car pileup on
Interstate 44 in the eastbound lanes.
